We require a senior (or Intermediate) Civil Engineer. Duties include water analysis, design and overview of the supporting documentation to ensure successful project delivery, as well as carrying out efficient designs to current NZ Legislation, Standards, Approved Codes of Practice and Industry Best Practices etc.
Desirable skills:
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, and a CPEng status would be advantageous
4-8 years experience as a civil engineer, delivering and managing projects.
Sound engineering knowledge, skills and principles.
Experience in NZ analysis and design using common materials and construction practices.
An understanding of asset management practices across multiple sectors.
Project delivery and management experience.
Position: MSQA Site Engineer
(On-site Manager)
Part Time/ Full Time
Fluent seeks someone with practical and physical experience working on construction projects and wants a less demanding physical role (from labouring) but still enjoys being out of the office. This role involves working for an engineering consultancy and undertaking the Management, Surveillance and Quality Assurance (MSQA) for site verification, mainly on pipeline construction projects.
Desirable skills:
Pipe laying and jointing.
Trenches and excavations.
Good communication skills and ability to get on with others.
Able to self-manage and organise work.
Ability to problem solve and develop solutions.
Undertake assessment and review documentation.
Prepare site notes and complete forms.
Position: Senior Stormwater Engineer
Part Time/ Full Time
Fluent seeks someone who has technical project delivery, including design and contract and construction management experience, but will also include business development and key client account management/ liaison, with the balance changing according to business needs.
Desirable skills:
Degree qualified in Engineering (specific to 3 waters), and a CPEng status is advantageous.
4-8 years experience as a water engineer, delivering and managing projects.
Experience in NZ analysis and design using common materials and construction practices.
An understanding of asset management practices in the water sector.
Project delivery, new business securement and management experience.
Position: Project Manager
Part Time/ Full Time
Fluent seeks someone who has the following experience and skills are desirable:
Project delivery, management experience
Someone who can manage our project managers – assisting with progress and planning
Knowledge of Civil, Infrastructure, construction, and 3 waters engineering practises
Ability to work across multiple projects
Excellent level of client communication ability and report writing within the Engineering field.
Training and mentoring skillset to motivate staff.
