Position: Mid – Senior Stormwater Engineer
You Will Need:
The purpose of this role is to support our team with Stormwater expertise including project planning, providing technical knowledge to delivery frontline staff, and taking control of timeframes and delivery specific to our Stormwater projects. The roles encompass some client and contractor management associated with drainage and water network operations and upgrade projects.
You will need to demonstrate:
- Knowledge of 3 waters engineering, with specialist knowledge of stormwater engineering.
- Experience in stormwater modelling specifically using InfoWorks ICM and/or HEC RAS and HEC HMS.
- Skills in the use of GIS software would also be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Your ability to manage the programme budget, monitoring expenditure.
- You collaborate well ensuring delivery targets are hit.
- You thrive in a busy and fast paced environment.
- That you are a self-starter who is focused on providing solutions and outputs that are in line with best practice.
- You have the ability to think innovatively toward solutions for complex projects.
- Good engineering design knowledge.
- Excellent spoken and written English and ability to articulate issues and solutions to ensure timeliness of deliverables.

Position: Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer
Full time
We require a senior (or Intermediate) Civil Engineer. Duties include water analysis, design and overview of the supporting documentation to ensure successful project delivery, as well as carrying out efficient designs to current NZ Legislation, Standards, Approved Codes of Practice and Industry Best Practices etc.
Desirable skills:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, and a CPEng status would be advantageous
- 4-8 years experience as a civil engineer, delivering and managing projects.
- Sound engineering knowledge, skills and principles.
- Experience in NZ analysis and design using common materials and construction practices.
- An understanding of asset management practices across multiple sectors.
- Project delivery and management experience.
